Projects can be evaluated a number of ways. We tend to develop a structured evaluation protocol, which might look like this:
- Initial Evaluation summary of existing written project briefs, AKC evaluation reports, project descriptions. Also consider changes in the healthcare delivery system in the region.
- User Surveys, including site managers, end-users, project administrators
- Responses to any questions about the written material via e-mail.
- A one to two hour telephone discussion per project with project staff.
- More Detailed Examination, typically including an all-day site visit. Site visit offers an opportunity for both the reviewers and the project to learn.
